Willowbrook, IL — Get ready for a double dose of Halloween cheer as the Willowbrook Police Department and community partners roll out two family-friendly events filled with candy, costumes, and activities all weekend long.

The fun starts Friday, October 25, with the Halloween Hoopla & Food Drive at Willowbrook Square Shopping Center (Route 83 & 63rd St.) from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kids can trick-or-treat at participating spots, play games, and show off their best costumes. Guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to help support local families.

The celebration continues on Sunday, October 26, at Willow Pond (Adams St. & Plainfield Rd.) for the annual Boo Bash at the Pond from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Expect a lively costume contest and a flotilla finale on the water, plus ongoing favorites like a trick-or-treat trail, photo opportunities, and eerie tales presented by the Indian Prairie Public Library.

Officers will be on hand at both events to meet neighbors, snap photos, and share sweets with attendees.

For details or to register, visit the Willowbrook Chamber of Commerce and Village of Willowbrook websites.

Bring your costumes, your sweet tooth, and—if you can—a donation for the food drive to make the weekend a treat for the whole community.
