Momence, IL — Autumn festivities are back in full swing as the Momence Harvest Festival returns to Momence Island Park from Friday through Sunday, October 24–26. The family-focused celebration runs daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering a packed lineup of seasonal activities for all ages.
This year’s festival features local food trucks, live music, carnival-style games, and complimentary pony rides. Kids can get hands-on at the petting zoo, marvel at a reptile show, and enjoy face painting, while visitors of all ages can step into Latin dance lessons offered throughout the weekend. A Boo Basket Raffle, trick-or-treating, and multiple live performances round out the entertainment, with professional photographers on-site to capture the memories.
The festival hub is located at 305 E. Washington Street, right by the Momence Island Park footbridge near Railroad Avenue. Parking and admission are free. Organizers encourage guests to check the Momence Harvest Festival Facebook page for day-of updates on vendors and performance schedules.
With sunny fall weather in the forecast, families from across Kankakee County and neighboring communities are expected to gather for a classic small-town seasonal celebration.
