Lubbock, TX — Expect a gray, misty morning as low clouds and patchy fog linger before sunshine gradually breaks through later today. A few hit-or-miss showers and isolated thunderstorms may bubble up in the afternoon, most likely before the sun sets.

Afternoon temperatures will rise into the 68–73°F range, accompanied by a gentle north breeze around 5–10 mph. Any showers that do form should be brief and scattered, winding down by evening.

Tonight, skies turn mostly clear with light, variable winds, and cooler lows dipping to about 43–50°F.

Sunday brings pleasant, classic fall weather—plenty of sunshine and mild conditions—expected to carry into the start of next week.
