A Winter’s View From the River

Austin Hill, a local of Meigs County along with others aboard AEP’s Captain Gerald Boggs brave the winter weather as they break ice above the Racine Locks and Dam. As the rest of us deal with slick road conditions it is easy to forget about those working on barges and while ice on the river can be pretty, it can also be a problem for those at the locks or on the barges; but that didn’t stop Austin Hill from taking a few pictures along the way.
