Daniel “Danny” Lee Gillenwater, 40 of Gallipolis lost his fight with brain cancer; Monday, February 24th, 2014. Born September 23, 1973; to the late Carlos “Ray” Gillenwater & Linda Wright.
He was proceeded in death by his father Ray Gillenwater, an infant brother Carlos Edward Gillenwater, paternal grandparents Ed & Mammie Gillenwater; maternal grandma Effie Siders; step-dad Jerry Johnson. He is survived by his mother and step-dad; Linda & Don Wright. A very special grandpa Junior Siders, grandparents Donald & Evaline Wright. A special companion an caretaker Elvira Johnson. One daughter Morgan Gillenwater & three sons Jacob Gillenwater, Daniel Gillenwater & Dakota Gillenwater. A step son Jordan Spires & a step daughter Brandy Lambert. Five sisters Brenda Gillenwater, Carla “Aaron” Thacker, Tammy “Steve” Bonecutter, Kim Caldwell & Tessi “Richie” Siders. Five brothers; Jerry Johnson, Chris Gillenwater, Charles “Charity” Gillenwater, Curt Gillenwater & Carlos “Kathy” Gillenwater.
Services will be Thursday February 27, 2014. Viewing will be at 11:00 am & funeral at 1:00 pm at Deal Funeral home, Point Pleasant, WV. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery, Gallipolis OH.
