Patrol Welcomes Comments During Public Call-in Session for 8th Re-Accreditation

unnamed2COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Highway Patrol welcomes calls from community members in an upcoming public call-in session addressing the Patrol’s ability to comply with re-accreditation standards. The Patrol is proud to submit its 8th re-accreditation application through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).

The assessment team from CALEA will be conducting an on-site examination of all aspects of the Division’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services. The public call-in session will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Comments regarding the Patrol’s ability to comply with the standards for accreditation can be made toll free by calling 1-866-931-6448. Anyone wishing to submit written comments may send them to the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement, Inc. (CALEA), 13575 Heathcote Boulevard, Suite 320, Gainesville, VA 20155.
