Celebrate National Library Week at the Meigs County Library
Celebrate National Library Week at the Meigs County Library! This week is sponsored by the American Library Association and observed by many libraries across the country. Show your support for your library by participating one of the programs listed below, or simply by stopping in for a visit at one of our four locations!
Get crafty on Monday, April 14th at 3:00. This Crafternoon will feature a spring craft.
The celebration continues with our annual tie-dye program. The library will provide all materials except for clothing to be tie-dyed. Please bring your own items to be tie-dyed. Items must be white or very light in color. Examples of items include: T-Shirts, socks, baby clothes, dresses etc. The program begins at 6:00 pm at the Pomeroy Library on Tuesday, April 15th.
The Friends of the Library are sponsoring a local restaurant gift certificate giveaway to begin during National Library Week. Like the library’s Facebook page to be entered into a drawing. We will be giving away a $10 gift certificate when we reach 800 likes, a $20 gift certificate when we reach 900 likes, and a $30 gift certificate when we reach 1,000 likes.
Catch a movie! “The Nut Job” is this month’s Family Movie Matinee to be shown on Saturday, April 19th at 2:00 pm. Popcorn and lemonade provided by the Friends of the Library!
Join the Friends of the Library for a chance to be involved with library programs.
