Robert Edward “Bob” Daniels, 79

Robert Edward “Bob” Daniels, 79, of Middleport, Ohio passed away on Friday June 13, 2014 at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. Mr. Daniels was born on November 9, 1934 in Middleport to the late Emmet and Genevieve (Dennis) Daniels. Bob was a member of the Appalachian Riding Club, and the Ohio Horse Council Meigs Branch. He was and Avid Horse Rider and enjoyed taking trips to Virginia and West Virginia to trail ride.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Fern Colmer Daniels; sons, Jeff Daniels and Ed Daniels; grandchildren, Wendi Daniels-Parsons, Tod Daniels and Seth Daniels; great grandchildren, Alyssia and Lexi Parsons and Emma, Hannah, and Robert Daniels; brothers Rusty Daniels and Allen Daniels; several nieces and nephew and his faithful companion Scamp.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John, Jim, Chuck, and Dave, sisters, Mag, Fun, Nina, Beanie and Sally.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 5-8:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to Heartland Hospice or Ohio Horseman’s Council Meigs Chapter.
