Donald “Don” Ralph Waugh, 74

Donald “Don” Ralph Waugh, 74, of Gallipolis went to be with the Lord at 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in the Holzer Medical Center. Born July 27, 1939, in Marietta, Ohio, he was the son of the late Heber Carr and Anna Roberta Cisler Waugh. Don worked for his family nursery and landscaping business, he was also member of the Cheshire Baptist Church. Don loved to spend time with his family, loved to sing and he was a tenor. Don also served in the United States Army.

Don is survived by his brother, Robert “Bob” C. (Donna) Waugh, Sr., of Gallipolis, nephews, Robert “Rob” (Kelly) Waugh Jr., of Jackson, Steve (Lisa) Waugh, of Mason, Ohio, and Thom (Charity) Waugh, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, great-nieces and great-nephews, Andy, Abby, Annie Waugh, and Alex Davis, all of Jackson, Ohio, Jake and Dylan Waugh, of Mason, Josie, Carly, and Brad all of New Philadelphia.

Graveside services with full Military Honors provided by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Service Detail Team will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in the Swan Creek Cemetery with Pastor Larry Fisher officiating. Rob Waugh, Steve Waugh, Thom Waugh, Andy Waugh, Jake Waugh, Dylan Waugh, and Brad Waugh will serve as casketbeares. Friends may call from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Cremeens Funeral Home, on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Don’s honor to Holzer Hospice, 90 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631.
