Robert R. ‘Bob’ Phillips, age 66

Robert R. ‘Bob’ Phillips, age 66, of Gallipolis died Thursday morning August 21, 2014 at his residence. Born February 13, 1948 in the Bladen community in Gallia County, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mabel Hoover Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a sister, Eloise Phillips and by 1 step grandchild.

Bob is survived by his wife, Shirley M. White Phillips, 2 step daughters, Kathy (Johnny) Lively of Vinton and Lisa (Roger) Bing of Mason Co. WV, 5 step grandchildren, 3 brothers, Ronnie (Sharon) Phillips of Chesapeake, Richard (Trina) Phillips of Proctorville, and Randy (Loretta Heck) Phillips of Crown City, 3 sisters, Nancy Mooney of Crown City, Jeanette Pauley of Kenova and Jean Lemley of Ratcliff, KY.

Funeral services will be 3 PM. Saturday August 23, 2014 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with Bob’s funeral expenses.
