Larry Dean Beaver, Sr., 55

Larry Dean Beaver, Sr., 55, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at his residence.

He was born in Gallipolis on June 1, 1959 to the late Rudy W. and Mabel A. McGuire Beaver. Larry was married to Kimberly Russell on May 6, 1983 in Virginia and she survives him. He was a mechanic at The Barn and a member of White Oak Baptist Church. He enjoyed truck pulling and family especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are Kimberly “Kim” Beaver of Gallipolis; three children, Larry Dean (Kelly) Beaver, Jr. of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Bradley (Natalie) Beaver and Brandi (Guy) Guinther, both of Gallipolis; four grandchildren, Blake Beaver, Bennett Beaver, Gennah and Tripp Guinther; six sisters, Carolyn Kingery of Gallipolis, Mary (Paul) Russell of Porter, Sandra (James) Kapp of West Columbia, WV, Sharon Pickens of Pt. Pleasant, WV, Beverly Byus of Gallipolis, Marsha (David) Hindy of Pt. Pleasant, WV; one brother, Carl (Kay) Beaver of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece and nephew Regina Hudnall and Ronnie Kingery Jr. and a brother-in-law Mike Pickens.

Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Ward and Brother Leland Allman officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 5-8 p.m.
