Meth lab discovered on Long Hollow Road
POMEROY, Ohio – An alleged meth lab was discovered on Long Hollow Road.
According to Meigs County Sheriff Keith O. Wood, on March 21, 2017 Meigs County Deputies responded after receiving a tip about a possible meth lab on Long Hollow Road in Pomeroy. Upon investigation, several items including lab materials were discovered along the road and in a nearby creek bed.
Upon the discovery, Meigs County Sheriff meth techs began working to neutralize “two one pot reactionary vessels, four HCL generators and various dangerous chemicals used in cladestine labs,” according to a statement from Sheriff Wood.
The Pomeroy Fire Department was on scene to assist the techs. Meigs County EMS also responded.
No information was released concerning any possible suspects.
