Middleport Police Make Arrest Following Search Warrant Execution

MIDDLEPORT, Ohio – The execution of a search warrant has resulted in the arrest of one man.

According to Middleport Police Chief Bruce Swift, in the early morning hours of Feb. 6, 2018 officers with the Middleport Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Vine Street in Middleport.

During the search warrant, officers seized approximately 8 grams of suspected methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments. According to Chief Swift, Floyd Dale Riffle, 56, was arrested and charged with felony narcotics possession. Riffle is at the Middleport Jail pending his initial court appearance. Other charges may be pending.
