Michael Scott Dorst, 34, of Middleport, OH, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Holzer Emergency Meigs, Pomeroy, OH

Born February 1, 1984, at Gallipolis, OH to Michael Christopher Dorst and Tammy Jo Landers Thomas. He worked as an auto mechanic, an avid Nascar fan, and a graduate of Meigs Local High School.

Survivrd by children Cameron Bryce Powell and Ethan Riley Dorst. Sisters Jordann Thomas, Tessa Thomas, Aubrey Dorst, and Addison Dorst, brother Aries Dorst. Step-mother Angelique Dorst, step-father Timothy Thomas, grandmother Judy (Donald) Porter Parker, special aunt with whom he resided Mary Ellis, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Sevices are Thursday, September 6, 2018, a 4 p.m., at Birchfield Funeral Home, Rutland, OH, burial to follow at Gilmore Cemetery, Pomeroy, OH. Family to receive friends from 2 p.m. till time of sevices Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family request donation to Birchfield Funeral Home to help with Michael’s expences.
