Section of Union Avenue to Close for Construction

POMEROY, Ohio – A section of road will be closed to traffic in Pomeroy.

Beginning Monday, August 12, Union Avenue will be closed from the intersection of Hiland Road to Mulberry Avenue due to the replacement of storm culverts on Union Avenue.

During this closure, vehicle traffic on Union Avenue will be restricted to residents who live in the affected area.

This closure is expected to last until Friday, August 17, if the project is not delayed for any reason.

Pomeroy Village and the contractors apologize for any inconvenience, but this closure is necessary for the to work to be completed in a timely manner.
