Junior Fair Board Service and Bake Goods Auction Held

MEIGS COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, Ohio – Since the early 1990s the Meigs County Junior Fair has held an auction during the fair. A Junior Fair Board member is “auctioned” off for four hours of work. Work must be completed at the fairgrounds and during the Meigs County Fair.

The funds raised go to the Junior Fair Board and their expenses related to making the fair possible. Businesses, families, farms, and individuals come together to raise funds through the service and bake goods auction.

Dean Blackburn, auctioneer, conducted the sale. Blackburn will also be the auctioneer for the lives sale on Aug. 17, 2019 of the fair.
