Woodrow “Jack” Richard, Sr., 69, of Portland
Woodrow “Jack” Richard, Sr., 69, of Portland, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2021, at his home.
He was born to the late Harry and Genevieve Richard on May 27, 1951. Jack worked as a milkman and later at Richard and Son Sand and Gravel in Letart, Ohio. He was currently working at the Ripley Walmart.
Jack enjoyed farming and gardening. He loved having his grandkids to love and play. He enjoyed hunting, dancing, playing cards, and fishing.
He is survived by his daughter, Janice (David) Cook; his son, Woody Richard; stepdaughters, Bridget and Brittany; grandchildren, Jaylen, Alexis, Devin, Emilee, Nik, Jake, Brody, Skylar, Ethan, Cameron, Stella, Ava, Nora, and Ollie; great grandchildren, Madisyn, Lyvaeh, Annabelle, Nik, Jr., Holden, Kace, Kora, and Raven; several nieces and nephews; and special people, Janice and Fred.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lester and Robert Richard; sister, Barbara McGlaughlin; a wife, Pam; and a grandson, Jordin.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV, with Randy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Letart Falls Cemetery in Racine, Ohio.
Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Friday, March 5 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
