Meigs County road construction update: Week of March 15, 2021

MARIETTA, Ohio – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Meigs County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting. Click on each route to see its location at

SR 7 rockfall hazard – One northbound lane of SR 7 is closed between Howell Hill Road (Township Road 207) and SR 124 due to a rockfall hazard. Estimated completion: December 31, 2021

County Road 5 Landslide Repair –  County Road 5 (Mill Street) is closed due to a landslide repair project. Estimated completion: May 1, 2021

County Road 1 Bridge Replacement – A bridge replacement project is taking place on County Road 1 (Salem School Lot Road). The road is closed between Ogdin Road (Township Road 25) and Dyesville Road (County Road 27). The detour is County Road 1 to SR 143 north to SR 32 west to SR 689 south to SR 160 south to SR 124 east to County Road 1. Estimated closure end date: May 6, 2021
