Janey Ann Birchfield, 81, of Rutland

Janey Ann Birchfield, 81, of Rutland, Ohio passed away on August 29, 2021. She was born on May 18, 1940 in Charleston, West Virginia daughter of the late Earl Anderson Wright and Clessie Ann (Slater) Wright.

She is survived by her children, Rita (Mike) France, Ricky Birchfield, Rebecca (Russ) Howell and Randy (Mary) Birchfield; grandchildren, Andrew (Justine) Birchfield, Jessica (Nate) Howell, Blake Birchfield, Jenna Howell and Alex Birchfield; great grandchildren, Caleb, Emmitt and Jared; brother, David (Janet) Wright; sisters-in-law, Dreama Harvey, Charlotte Grant and Sandy Birchfield; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Birchfield and siblings, Clyde Hubert Wright, Frances Wright and Shirley Earl Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. and Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow at Victory Baptist Church Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio. Visiting hour will be on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
