Angelo B. “Andy” Cross, 59
Angelo B. “Andy” Cross passed away on November 6, 2021 at his home in Whitehall, Ohio. He was husband of Cylinda L. Cross. They shared 32 years of marriage together.
Born in Pomeroy, Ohio on August 20, 1962, he was the son of Gladys J. Stowers Cross and the late Amos B. Cross SR. He was a graduate of Meigs High School in the class of 1981.
In May of 1981, Andy enlisted in the Marine Corps, where he attended boot camp at Camp Lejeune, NC. He served a three year tour in Okinawa, Japan and visited Germany and Korea.
After serving his country with the Marine Corps, andy was a long time truck driver and most recently worked for Fed Ex. In his spare time, Andy enjoyed reading western novels, watching movies, spending time with family, and participating in tough man competitions.
He is surviced by his devoted wife, Cylinda “Frederick” Cross, and two loving sons Ayden (Kayla) Cross and Alex Cross, mother Gladys “Stowers” Cross, two brothers Amos B. (Dee) Cross JR and Ernest Lee (Mona) Cross, sister-in-law Pam Cross, mother-in-law Kay Frederick, sisters-in-law Jackie (Dave) Turner, Jodi (Steve) Martin, and Kristen (Gary) King, brother-in-law Jeff (Mary) Brown and several nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father Amos B. Cross, SR, father-in-law Jack Frederick, and three brothers David Cross, Alexander Cross and Christopher Cross.
Services are Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 12 p.m. at Birchfield Funeral Home, 212 Main Street, Rutland, OH 45775. Burial to follow at Coy Hill Cemetery, Langsville, Ohio.
