Job Posting: Eligibility Referral Specialist 2

Meigs County Department of Job and Family Services is accepting applications for Eligibility Referral Specialist 2 for the Income Maintenance Unit.  

The duties of this position: conducts interviews with public assistant applicants to determine initial and ongoing eligibility for publicly funded programs and services; maintains communication with ongoing public assistance clients to determine their continued eligibility for public assistance and/or assesses ongoing clients’ employment situation and seeks to resolve any barriers to employment these public assistance clients may be experiencing; processes applications and changes promptly as required by federal, state and county policies and procedures; demonstrates the ability to manage diverse tasks, complex problem solving, and is highly detailed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED, Baccalaureate or Associate Degree preferred.  Education, training and/or experience in interviewing technique, typing, keyboarding, customer service.  

$15.89/hour, plus benefits
