July 2
Rutland Vol. Fire Department Ox Roast
The annual event will have a parade line up at 10 a.m. The parade begins at 11 a.m. Pretty Baby contest at 12:15 p.m. Little Mister and Miss Contest at 1:45 p.m. Music, food stands, vendors, games and more open at noon. Concessions by Rutland Fire Department including the famous Rutland Roast Beef sandwiches and more. Fireworks at 11 p.m.

July 2
Big Bend Area Fireworks
Pomeroy events at the levee for the Fourth of July include a car show from 4-9 p.m. Entertainment includes bounce houses, Rockin Reggie, cartoon fun and comedy with JD Williamson, and Renee Stewart Band all beginning at 4 p.m. Fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

July 4
Racine FD BBQ

The Racine Fire Department BBQ will begin at 11 a.m. There will be chicken, potato salad, baked beans, and a roll. Also they will have homemade ice cream by the pint in various flavors.

July 4
Syracuse Independence Day Parade

The parade line up begins at 3 p.m. on Marina Drive. The parade begins at 4 p.m. All golf carts and side by sides are welcome. Cart registration will be waived for those attending the parade.

July 4
Racine Independence Day Celebration

Frog Jumping Contest at Star Mill Park with registration beginning at 6 p.m. Parade line up at the school begins at 7 p.m. Parade begins at 7:30 p.m. Parade route change to proceed from high school to Home National Bank, then turn on Fifth Street, where it will continue to Star Mill Park. Fireworks at Star Mill Park at 9:45 p.m.

July 4
Middleport Fourth of July Celebration

Parade line up begins at 5:45 p.m. The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. At the Diles Park at 7 p.m. with music and entertainment from Next Level. Flag raising by Feeney-Bennett Post #128 with the National Anthem sung by B.J. Kreesen. Remarks to follow from Mayor Fred Hoffman. Food will be available by the River City Players and ice cream by the Riverbend Arts Council. Fireworks are set 9:30 p.m.

July 7-9
Tent Revival

The First Southern Baptist Church, 41872 Pomeroy Pike, Pomeroy, Ohio will hold a tent revival from July 7 through July 9 with services beginning at 7 p.m. The Rev. Phillip Coffey from Taylorville, North Carolina is the evangelist.

July 16-17
Meigs Trade Days

Gates open for the public at 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be a flea market and craft show both days. No admission. Food vendor will be on site. Camping is available with special events for campers. Weekend camping is $35. Contact Tara Roberts at 740-416-5506 or Wendi Miller at 740-416-4015.

Vacation Bible School

VBS at Rutland Church of the Nazarene

The Rutland Church of the Nazarene will hold Monumental Celebrating God’s Greatness VBS from July 5 to July 9. VBS will Tuesday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Saturday, July 9 , it will be 4-7 p.m. Family Fun Fest will follow on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. Register early on Facebook @RutlandNaz.

Victory Baptist Church VBS

Victory Baptist Church in Middleport Ohio will hold Might God Vacation Bible School July 11-15, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. every night. There will be a Bible lesson, food, games and crafts. Everyone gets a bag of goodies.

VBS at First Southern Baptist Church

The First Southern Baptist Church, 41872 Pomeroy Pike, Pomeroy, Ohio will be having a VBS from July 14-16. The theme is Hayday.

VBS at Forest Run UMC

VBS will be held Thursday, July 28, Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30 at 6-8:30 p.m. each evening. Thursday and Friday will be full VBS evenings, whereas Saturday will have a lesson and will be a family fun community evening with a cookout, bounce house from Meigs Inflatables, face painting, balloon animals, and fun. VBS serves children ages 0-12, and everyone is invited to our family fun community evening. We are located at Forest Run United Methodist Church at 43712 Forest Run Road Racine, Oh 45771.
