Paul Eugene Ervin, 72

Paul Eugene Ervin, 72, of Middleport, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 16 at OSUMC Columbus, Ohio. He was born August 8, 1949 to the late Paul and Wilma (Bell) Ervin in Pomeroy, OH.

Eugene lived his life as a long haul truck driver, logging more than three million miles. With his jolly attitude, he never met a stranger and could easily pass time lost in conversation. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His abundant kindness did not end with family, he was always willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Mona K. (Mooney) Ervin, his children Kellie (Chris) Neece of Middleport, Ohio; Jason (Jodi) Ervin of Racine, Ohio; his grandchildren Jolisha, Breanna, Braedon, and Jace; his brother Wendell (Peggy) Ervin of Racine, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Donald Wayne (Buck) Ervin.

Family and friends may call at Anderson-McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio on Thursday, July 21, 2022 for a visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Rev. David Greer officiating at 12 p.m.
