Pomeroy Woman Indicted by Gallia County Grand Jury

GALLIPOLIS, Ohio – Prosecuting Attorney Jason D. Holdren announces that the Gallia County Grand Jury met in September 2022 and returned indictments against multiple individuals incuding one from Meigs County.

Michelle D. Woodyard, 45, of Pomeroy, Ohio, one count of Failure to Appear, a felony of the fourth degree.

Others indicted are listed below.

Vandonte T. K. Duncan, 47, of Columbus, Ohio, one count of Possession of Fentanyl Related Compound, a felony of the first degree; and one count of Trafficking in a Fentanyl Related Compound, a felony of the first degree.

Danielle M. Witherspoon, 39, of Detroit, Michigan, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the second degree; one count of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the second degree; one count of Possession of Cocaine, a felony of the first degree; one count of Trafficking in Cocaine, a felony of the first degree; one count of Possession of Heroin, a felony of the first degree; and one count of Trafficking in a Fentanyl Related Compound, a felony of the first degree.

Teddy R. Fortner, 37, of Thurman, Ohio, one count of Pattern of Corrupt Activity, a felony of the second degree; four counts of Theft, felonies of the fifth degree; four counts of Tampering with Records, felonies of the fifth degree; and seventeen counts of Theft, misdemeanors of the first degree.

Eric D. Wolford, 36, of Crown City, Ohio, one count of Burglary, a felony of the second degree; one count of Burglary, a felony of the third degree; and one count of Trespass in a Habitation, a felony of the fourth degree.

Bradley A. Stewart, 47, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree.

Christopher H. Sanders, 20, of Crown City, Ohio, one count of Discharge Firearm on or Near Prohibited Premises, a felony of the third degree; one count of Vandalism, a felony of the fifth degree.

Jeffery L. Delaney, 33, of Oak Hill, Ohio, one count of Burglary, a felony of the third degree.

Joshua E. Doerfer, 41, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Tampering with Evidence, a felony of the third degree.

Nicholas Jones, 37, of Gallipolis, Ohio, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree; one count of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the third degree; one count of Possession of Fentanyl Related Compound, a felony of the fifth degree; and one count of Tampering with Evidence, a felony of the third degree.

Mark A. Schweikert, 36, of Vinton, Ohio, one count of Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, a felony of the fourth degree.

Thomas Switzer, 45, of Bidwell, Ohio, one count of Failure to Appear, a felony of the fourth degree.

Jeffrey L. Fitzwater, 46, of Vinton, Ohio, one count of Failure to Appear, a felony of the fourth degree.

Jeremy A. Russell, 46, of Thurman, Ohio, one count of Failure to Appear, a felony of the fourth degree.

Jennifer L. Arden, 33, of Zion, Illinois, two counts of Failure to Appear, felonies of the fourth degree.

Renee L. Edwards, 41, of Langsville, Ohio, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree.

Matthew A. Athey, 44, of New Haven, West Virginia, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a felony of the fifth degree.

The cases against those indicted will proceed in the Gallia County Common Pleas Court.
