Edwards appointed Chairman of the Finance Committee
COLUMBUS – State Representative Jay Edwards (R-Nelsonville) today was appointed to serve as Chairman of the Ohio House of Representatives Finance Committee.
“It’s an immense honor to be given the role of Finance Chair,” Edwards said. “I am very grateful to Speaker Stephens for instilling this trust in me, and I will do all I can to produce fair and balanced budgets.”
Edwards was appointed to serve in this position by Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill).
“Representative Edwards has a tremendous work ethic and committed attitude, which are vital for the Finance Chair,” Stephens said. “I respect Rep. Edwards’s ability, and I look forward to working closely with him over the coming months.”
