Janice G. Tanthorey Aurand

Janice G. Tanthorey Aurand, 84, of Reedsville, OH, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Laurels of Athens. 
She was born April 16, 1939, daughter of the late Victor and Helen Newman Russell. Janice attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Tuppers Plains and enjoyed traveling. She loved playing cards and the Senior Citizens Group. 
Janice is survived by her husband of 13 years, Larry “George” Aurand; son, Terry and Terrie Tanthorey; 2 daughters, Debbie Tanthorey and Steve Beha and Cheryl and Rick Lawson; 2 brothers, Ronnie Russell and Gary Russell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 step-daughters, Tami and Dale Markin and Amy and Joseph Little and step-son, David Aurand, 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Tanthorey and 2 sons, Tim Tanthorey and Stevie Tanthorey. 
A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M., Saturday, June 10, 2023, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Tuppers Plains, with Pastor Mark Brookins officiating.
