Mark Timothy “Boo” Rathburn

Mark Timothy “Boo” Rathburn, 61, of Rutland, Ohio, passed unexpectedly Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at his residence.

Born May 11, 1962 at Point Pleasant, West Virginia, to the late Bobby Joe and Wanda Pearl Coy Rathburn. He worked as general roofer for different people.

Boo is survivied by 2 brothers Charles (Tammy Starcher) Rathburn and Robert Joe Rathburn, 2 sisters Teresa (Tony Jacks) Rathburn and Robin Wood, children Devin Montgomery and Stacy Gaines, step daughters Ruby Wears and Mariah Shoemaker. Special friend Brenda Sharp, aunts, nieces and nephews Jesse Wood, Tangie Wood, James McDonald, Joseph McDonald, Tara Wooten, Mason Rathburn, Ezra Rathburn and Silas Rathburn, and other friends.

Besides his parents he is preceded by his step mother Mary Rathburn, 1/2 brother Terry Lee Rathburn, grandmother Vivian Coy, and a nephew Michael McDanold.

Graveside services will be announced at a later date. Birchfield Funeral Home, Rutland, OH is helping the family at this time.
