Cleveland man convicted of murder of former Middleport resident

Mason County, W.Va.- Bobby L Wolford was found guilty of first degree felony murder, in the death of former Middleport resident Michael Gomez. The Mason County jury found Wolford guilty on the charge of murder, conspiracy and concealment of a deceased human body.

Wolford is facing a life sentence without the possibility of parole. The body of Gomez was found on Carson Road in Mason County, West Virginia on March 8, 2022. Gomez had been shot.

Also charged is Rikki Parsons of Racine, Ohio.

Wolford has not been scheduled for sentencing.
