Howard Keith Dorst

Howard Keith Dorst, 62, of Pomeroy, OH, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2023, at his residence. 
He was born Dec. 13, 1960, in Gallipolis, OH, son of Helen Hoffman Wilson and the late Robert A. Dorst. Howard was a 1979 graduate of Eastern High School and worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific for 37 years. 
He is survived by his mother, Helen Wilson; brother, Tim and Karina Dorst; niece, Camila Dorst; nephew, Nicholas Dorst; special uncle, Roger Hoffman; special aunt, Juanita Grueser and several cousins. 
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dorst. 
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH. Burial will follow in the Chester Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday, from 5-7 P.M. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tuppers Plains Church of Christ.
