Mary Bradford, a beloved resident of Racine, Ohio passed away on November 6, 2023. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Mary enjoyed being a seamstress, working in several local factories devoted to the clothing industry. She also enjoyed quilting and doing needlework of all kinds. 

Mary was born on October 6, 1931 in New Haven, West Virginia, to Paul and Minnie Roush. She lived a life filled with love, compassion, and a deep sense of community. She dedicated her life to her family and was a pillar of strength for them. She was preceded in death by her brother Arnold Roush, sister Pauline Lieving, granddaughter Mary Catherine Goodnite and step son Keith Bradford. 

She is survived by her husband Gail E Bradford of 45 years, sisters Barbara Goodnite, Betty Roush, and loving children, Paul D (Beverly) Goodnite, Linda S (Ronnie) Neal, H Bruce (Connie) Goodnite, and Ronda L (Jim) Wilson and her adoring grandchildren, Wendy Zaragoza, Shannon Neal, James Goodnite, Mike Jeffers, Melba Leport, Brandy Sanders, and Angie Hadley. Mary is also survived by her stepson Anthony (Becky) Bradford, stepdaughter Tammy (Jeff) Jones, step daughter-in-law Debi Bradford, step grandchildren, Stephanie Fisher, Rachel Hawkins, Shelly Tawney, Matthew Bradford and Michael Bradford. 

Mary’s kind heart and warm smile will forever be remembered by her family and friends and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and a strong sense of community. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 

The family of Mary would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Arbors of Pomeroy for the exceptional care and kindness that was provided during her stay. Your compassion and support meant a great deal to Mary and her loved ones during her time there. 

We also want to thank Shriver’s Hospice for their dedication, comfort, and care you provided in her final days.
