Linda Lou Hoffman

Linda Lou Hoffman of Middleport, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on December 28, 2023.

She was born on January 26, 1942 in Rutland, Ohio to the late Worley & Phyllis Haley. 

Linda is survived by her sister Janet Sue (Haley) Sigman, Nieces and Nephews Mike, Craig, Dwight, Keith, Joyce, Danny, Jeff, Carol, Paul, Pauletta, David and several great nieces and nephews. 

A special nephew David Tiemeyer whom she considered her son. Special mentions Linda(Carol) Ogdin, Phillip S. Smith and Larissa Joy Morace. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years Charles (Chuck) Hoffman, sisters Betty Swick, Barbara (Boots) Jewett, Sharon Ferrel, Niece Diane Walker and Nephew Jerry McDaniel. 

Linda graduated from Rutland High School. And retired from Meigs County Board of Education. She also worked at the Meigs County HUD Office. 

Linda enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling & was a member of New Hope Nazarene Church Middleport. 

Visitation was held at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio Saturday, December 30, from 10 a.m. to noon with the funeral following directly afterwards. 

Pastor Bill Justice and Art Kishbaugh will be officiating the services. Graveside services will be conducted at Miles Cemetery in Rutland, Ohio. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Blakeslee Center in Middleport, Ohio.
