The Chicago Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying missing person Leon Garrett, 80, who was last seen on September 16, 2025.

Garrett, an African American male, stands 5’11” tall and weighs around 150 pounds. He has brown eyes, is bald, and has a medium skin tone. He was last spotted walking down the 8100 block of S. Campbell.

According to reports, Garrett may be confused, forgetful, or agitated.

Individuals with such symptoms are frequently at a higher danger in urban surroundings; thus, discovering him becomes increasingly urgent with each passing hour.

Chicago Police issued a statement on the evening of September 16 urging anyone with information to come forward.
