An October 24, 2025 update from the NOAA Climate Prediction Center points to a quiet start to November across the Ozarks. Southern Missouri, northern Arkansas, and eastern Oklahoma are favored for above-normal temperatures and below-average precipitation through the first half of the month—classic mild, dry fall weather.

The pattern may shift as the month winds down. Forecasters are keeping an eye on the final week of November, when a push of colder air from the Central Plains could drop overnight lows to near freezing. That setup brings the chance for a few light flurries over higher elevations, especially north of Branson and Fayetteville.

No significant storms are on the horizon yet, and any flakes would likely be brief and spotty. Still, Thanksgiving week could deliver the season’s first hint of winter across the region.
