There was a large law enforcement presence in a Pasadena neighborhood on Monday, where an immigration operation was said to be underway, according to police.
Details are limited currently, but the Pasadena Police Department confirmed to FOX 26 that there was an immigration operation in the 140 block of West Houston.
Pasadena police stated they were not supporting ICE with the operation, but officers were at the location to assist with traffic. They’ve since left the location.
A family member informs FOX 26 that ICE confronted two men who stopped at a local company on their way to work. We’re investigating whether there was an incident at the establishment.
The two males allegedly returned to a residence on West Houston and remained locked inside for hours.
ICE personnel allegedly surrounded the home until the two men were arrested.
We are told that the two men are related.
The detained males have not been identified. It’s still unclear what happened.
