On Sunday, October 26, 2025, officers responded to the 400 block of NW 10th Street in Gainesville, FL, after receiving reports of a male exposing himself and engaging in lewd behavior in public.
Officers arrived and located the culprit, Stacey Scott, who was born on September 12, 1974. When officers attempted to reach Scott, he fled on foot.
Later, he was seen on NW 10th Street. A perimeter was set up with the assistance of University of Florida Public Safety, and Scott was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit.
Scott was arrested for criminal indecent exposure and taken to Alachua County Jail. He has nine felony convictions and at least two past arrests for indecent exposure.
