The West Tennessee Drug Task Force has arrested three men and a woman following a meth bust in rural Tennessee.
During a drug investigation in Brosville on Thursday, the drug task force confiscated 127 grams of meth. However, after testing, agents discovered that only a half-ounce of the item contained meth. The rest was “some sort of material used to cut the drug to make it go further,” according to the task team.
Both the woman and the man were charged with intent to sell methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a counterfeit restricted substance.
Another man was charged with maintaining a drug location, possessing drug paraphernalia, and possessing a counterfeit controlled substance. He also had felony warrants out of Fayette and Haywood counties. He is facing minor charges linked to the drug bust.
According to drug task force officials, the home lacked running water, had exposed wiring, had a leaking roof, and was overburdened with extension cords. Authorities are working to condemn the property until repairs can be completed.
