The Baltimore Police Department’s Southeast District Action Team has successfully concluded a months-long investigation into illegal narcotics sales, which resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of huge quantities of marijuana and other things from two smoke shops.
Police said the investigation, which began with a 311 complaint regarding illegal marijuana distribution, ended in the execution of search and seizure warrants at two commercial businesses: Pulaski Convenient at 401 N. Bouldin St. and E EMonument Convenience at 2108 E. Monument St.
Detectives conducted undercover purchases with the assistance of BPD SWAT, Baltimore City Sheriff’s Deputies, and Maryland Alcohol, Tobacco, and Cannabis Commission agents, recovering approximately 65 pounds of marijuana, 205 vapes, 1,113 individual marijuana packages, and $63,500 in US currency.
As a result, Muslim Ahmed, 22, Magdi Elroubat, 33, and Mohamed Ahmed, 37, were arrested and charged.
The Baltimore Police Department expressed gratitude to community members who offered tips and law enforcement partners for their cooperation and teamwork in combating unlawful behavior in the communities.
