Police searching for vanished man in South Carolina

Police and emergency teams are searching for a vanished man in Myrtle Beach on Monday.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department reported that 69-year-old Thomas Mason was last seen Saturday afternoon around Costa Verde Drive, close to the Marriott. Mason was apparently dressed in an orange Clemson T-shirt and dark blue sweatpants.

The Myrtle Beach Fire Department and state Urban Search and Rescue teams are assisting with the ongoing search in the area.

Anyone with information or home security footage that can assist in locating Mason can contact the MBPD non-emergency line at 843-918-1382 and cite case number 25-019058.
