A man was detained at a Channelview motel after deputies discovered a stolen truck, cocaine, and a substantial sum of money, according to a press release from Pct. 3.
Pct. 3 Deputies noticed a white Ford F-250 with no plates parked at 15740 East Fwy., a place known for being a drop-off point for stolen automobiles. The truck was confirmed stolen after running the vehicle identification number through the N.C.I.C./T.C.I.C. system. The driver, Charles Miley, was discovered with around 26 grams of methamphetamine and a large amount of US dollars. Miley was charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and possession of prohibited substances. The narcotics and cash were taken as evidence, and the truck was removed. Miley was transferred to the Harris County Jail.
