Channel 11 was on the scene during rush hour at one of the North Hills’ busiest intersections, McKnight and Babcock.
Police and patrol vehicles blocked a car, and authorities arrested five adolescents.
Word of the chase has spread across The Block Northway commercial mall off McKnight Road.
“The majority of them are in the city somewhere.” “You don’t hear much in this area, which is good,” Pat Dosch told Channel 11.
Dispatchers and officers monitored every turn the automobile took through the North Hills.
We listened in on police radio calls and heard dispatchers say, “They’re coming up Ferguson by Bellisario’s. ” They will try to stop it, and it will most likely retreat from them.”
According to investigators, that is exactly what happened when it reached McKnight.
The McCandless Police Chief informed Channel 11 that the car collided with one of his officers’ vehicles before coming to a stop. The officer was not wounded.
