Police: Woman Dies After Being Discovered With No Clothes In Back Of Stolen Car On North Side

A woman died Thursday afternoon after being discovered with no clothes in the back seat of a stolen car in the North Center area on the North Side, according to police.

Around 3:15 p.m., a person contacted 911 and reported finding their stolen black Nissan Pathfinder in the 3200 block of North Damen Avenue, according to Chicago police dispatch records.

According to police scanner traffic, the 39-year-old woman was located in the rear seat still breathing when first responders arrived and given CPR.

She was transferred to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and died there, according to authorities.

According to police, the woman’s cause of death was not immediately revealed. Detectives were conducting a death investigation.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy.
