A Toledo man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a person several times for attempting to steal his car, according to official court documents.
TPD arrested Tony Coleman II, 29, of Toledo early Saturday morning on a single count of felonious assault.
According to detectives, Coleman spotted his vehicle being taken and fired a semiautomatic handgun 17 times while pursuing the person, striking his vehicle 14 times and the victim twice in the body.
The person was taken to the hospital after suffering injuries. Coleman is set to appear in court on Tuesday.
