4 people arrested after drug bust in South Carolina

Four people were arrested after deputies discovered drugs and a firearm during a search of a Georgetown home, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.

The search was carried on Thursday at a residence at 2106 Front Street.

Authorities said they seized 6.31 grams of fentanyl, 1.73 grams of crack cocaine, seven THC vape pens, 3.83 kilos of marijuana, and a Glock 43X handgun. Investigators also retrieved digital scales and packaging materials.

The following people were charged:

  • Quinton Stefon Ford, 31, of Georgetown, charged with trafficking fentanyl (4g–14g), first offense.
  • Rashaad Ford, 36, of Georgetown, charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, first offense.
  • Leon Markell Ford, 32, of Georgetown, charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule I–III controlled substances (second offense) and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person convicted of certain drug offenses.
  • Wilson T. Flemming, 39, of Georgetown, charged with possession of marijuana.

The investigation is underway.
