REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio — A 32-year-old man from Reynoldsburg is facing a criminal charge after authorities say he impregnated a girl when she was 13, according to court documents.
Ramesh Rai of Reynoldsburg was arrested last week and booked into Franklin County Jail for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, reported.
Court documents from Franklin County Municipal Court indicate that the Reynoldsburg Police Department received a referral from Franklin County Children’s Services regarding a reported sex crime involving the teenager. The alleged incidents took place between May 2025 and November 2025.
During the investigation, court records show that detectives also discovered sexual messages from Rai on the victim’s phone, including a threat to share photos and videos of the teenage girl.
Rai appeared for arraignment on Thursday, where the court set his bond at $500,000. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 17.
