One lucky Powerball player bought a ticket in Arizona worth $100,000 in Saturday night’s drawing.
The ticket was purchased at the Roadrunner Market in Vail, an unincorporated town in Pima County about 24 miles southeast of Tucson. It has a population of approximately 16,300.
The Powerball numbers for Saturday were 6, 47, 49, 53, and 60. The ticket matched four of the five numbers, including the red Powerball number: 6.
That amounts to $50,000, but the earnings were doubled thanks to the $1 Power Play option.
Arizona Lottery winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to redeem their prizes.
When is the next Powerball drawing?
Powerball draws take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturday nights.
Tickets cost $2 and are available at over 3,000 places throughout the Grand Canyon State.
The next Powerball drawing comes on Monday night. The prize is valued at $45 million.
