Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced that investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Unit apprehended Daniel Loretto on April 14, 2026, on three counts of possession of child exploitation material.
The charges are accusations, and Loretto is assumed innocent until proven guilty.
The Nampa Police Department, Meridian Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, and Boise Police Department all supported the ICAC Unit in the arrest.
The attorney general’s ICAC Unit collaborates with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a group of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and punish anyone who uses the internet to unlawfully abuse children.
