An investigation is underway after a man was discovered dead on a rooftop in Pittsburgh’s Strip District.
A Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesman tells Channel 11 that officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Penn Avenue after receiving a report of a body on a rooftop.
The authorities discovered a man dead on the roof. According to the official, there were no evident marks of trauma on his body, and the circumstances surrounding his death did not appear suspicious.
Detectives from the Violent Crime Unit continue to investigate.
The medical examiner would later reveal the man’s identity, as well as the cause and manner of his death.
