Police said they are seeking two wanted suspects and a suspect car in connection with a man’s fatal shooting in southeast Houston.
Authorities released surveillance images of the suspects, identifying them as two men. Police believe the suspects’ vehicle is a silver Honda Accord from 2012-2014.
The Houston Police Department said officers responded to a shooting complaint at 7526 Martin Luther King Boulevard at 5 p.m. on April 9.
Police reported finding an unresponsive male near a vehicle in the street. Officers reported that he had at least one gunshot wound and was declared dead at the site.
Police identified the victim as Makeyon Dean, 19 years old.
According to preliminary reports, there was an altercation that led to a shooting in the parking lot of an apartment complex at the address.
They claimed Dean drove out of the building before jumping the curb on MLK and exiting the vehicle.
Eric Addison reported witnessing this firsthand while working nearby.I heard a car race away from an apartment complex. I look up. “I see the car jumping the curb,” Addison explained. “A couple of people from the gas station ran out to check on him, and they noticed he was shot.”
Addison stated that he will be looking for these suspects.”I hope they find them,” Addison stated.
