The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man attacked a Brinks employee and stole their vehicle in Deerfield Township on Friday.
The incident occurred around 4:25 p.m. Friday outside a Ross Dress for Less on Waterstone Boulevard in Deerfield Township.
According to deputies, a suspect dressed entirely in black, wearing body armor and carrying a shotgun, assaulted a Brinks employee before fleeing in the vehicle.
The suspect abandoned the truck at the JCPenney’s on Fields Ertel Road.
Paramedics took the Brinks employee to the hospital, where they received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not reported any arrests related to the robbery.
