A man is facing theft charges after allegedly taking plants from a Harris County company, according to investigators.
According to a release, officials were dispatched to a company at 1000 Gulfgate Center Mall in response to a shoplifting report.
According to officials, Diego Gonzalez allegedly removed 11 plants worth more than $350.00 from the store and passed all points of sale without paying for them.
Deputies eventually apprehended Gonzalez and held him.
Gonzalez was charged with theft, shoplifting, and failing to provide identification.
Gonzalez was transported to the Harris County Jail for arrest and processing.
Gonzalez had been charged with a similar theft only a week before, according to officials.
Officials did not disclose any details on the first theft.
